Carbon accounting, also called Greenhouse Gas accounting, is the estimation and measurement of the quantity of Greenhouse Gases an organisation emits. Emissions of different gasses are converted into Carbon Dioxide Equivalents (CO2e), to calculate a total emissions quantity in a consistent unit.
